This fantastic shop, located in our Reception area, is big on quality and affordability. Most things are under $100, with many under $20, making it a perfect place for gifts.

We have carefully selected a wide range of talented artists representing the best being made in New Zealand right now. Items include ceramics, woodware, jewellery, glass, greenstone and bone carving.

Amongst the more popular and unusual things are laser cut plywood “cards”, which break out to make interlocking 3D creatures.

Also popular are Brendan Adams bright and funky cups and teapots, which look like something out of a Mad Hatters tea party and Ian Blackwell’s beautiful Rimu Endeavour trinket boxes, shaped like a waka.

Local artists are represented, with glass artist Evelyn Dunstan providing some fabulous examples, Abi and Alison Williams from SEED Jewellery has lovely, affordable jewellery and Sue Clark has exquisite textile art.
