Donations & Bequests

Uxbridge is a not-for-profit organisation, partially funded by Manukau City Council. It was formed expressly to provide arts services to the community. Uxbridge welcomes donations and bequests to ensure that our invaluable service to the local and wider community will remain for future generations to enjoy. Uxbridge’s strategic goals are:
  • To enrich and engage the community through arts, cultural and lifestyle activities.
  • To be recognised as a leading arts and cultural facility.
  • To achieve the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness in business practice.
Uxbridge benefits the community by providing diverse creative learning experiences to expand and stimulate the mind.  Uxbridge is a low cost educational provider of arts in Manukau,  making arts, culture and creativity accessible and affordable to as wide a group of people as possible.  Uxbridge Charitable Trust is in the process of being established to raise funds, invest in facilities and provide endowment income for Uxbridge.   The Trust will be fully operational by December 2007. Your donation and/or bequest will:
  • Ensure Uxbridge remains financially sustainable for future generations to enjoy
  • Ensure we can continue to provide a leading edge arts and cultural facility to the Community of Manukau City
Your donation will be used to keep art and culture alive in our community and will be put towards: Capital Development Projects The re-development and expansion of Uxbridge is our current priority project. An Endowment Fund This is an interest bearing fund that is built up over time. This will be an invaluable funding asset for the community in the future. These funds may be used for purchase of larger items of equipment, improvements to facilities. You can make a difference in the following ways:
  • Monthly Automatic Payment.
  • One off donation.
  • A bequest in your Will.
  • Volunteer a skill, service, product or time.
All supporters who donate $1000 or more will be recognised as a “Friend of Uxbridge” which has the following benefits:
  • Invitations to exhibition opening nights.
  • Invitation to an annual “friends” social event.
  • Email newsletter.
  • Discounted tickets to performances.
  • Discount on course fees.
